Description
Convallaria majalis ‘Bordeaux’ is an improved version of the old-fashioned lily-of-the-valley with larger and more plentiful creamy-white flowers. The bell-shaped flowers are pure white and held on stems that rise above the foliage rather than between them. The foliage is more rounded and darker green. Blooms last for several weeks and are highly fragrant. Tiny orange berries follow the flowers. This is a tough, vigorous ground cover. Plant under deciduous trees or in areas with partial sun or shade. An early spring pollen source for native bees. Deer resistant.
