Clematis montana ‘Tetrarose’ is a tetraploid variety from Holland that has larger than usual flowers and good bronze-green foliage. The masses of rose-pink flowers are nicely scented with vanilla. Vigorous and easy to grow, this species is one of the most prolific plants available for the garden and can create one of the most memorable of all floral displays each spring. Plant it to grow against a house, on a pergola, or up a tree. Pruning group A.
