Description
Clematis montana ‘Mayleen’ is a special cultivar with extra large, intensely fragrant, pale to mid satiny pink flowers produced by the thousands as the new burgundy-infused foliage emerges each spring. Possibly hardy to zone 5. Vigorous and easy to grow, this species is one of the most prolific plants available for the garden and can create one of the most memorable of all floral and fragrance displays each spring. Plant it to grow against a house, on a pergola, or up a tree. Pruning group A but really, you never had to prune. Just let it grow!
