Description
Citrus x sinensis ‘Newhall’ is a navel orange cultivar developed from ‘Washington’ with slightly elongated, seedless, sweet, flavourful fruit that is easy to peel. The slightly smaller fruit mature a little earlier than ‘Washington’ with a deeper rind and flesh colour. Trees are less vigorous thus good for small spaces and container culture. All of our citrus are grafted onto C-35 citrange, trifoliate orange, or other semi-dwarfing rootstock which confer good hardiness and production while reducing overall tree size.
