Description
xCitrofortunella mitis ‘Variegata’ is a heavy-fruiting hybrid most often used as an ornamental in North America because of its bushy shape, variegated foliage, and fragrant white flowers. Fruits are small, juicy, and sour with variegated skin. They are excellent for preserves and in fish, chicken, and pork dishes especially in Philippine cuisine where it is known as calamondin, calamansi, or Philippine lime. All of our citrus are grafted onto C-35 citrange, trifoliate orange, or other semi-dwarfing rootstock which confer good hardiness and production while reducing overall tree size.
