Description
Citrus bergamia, or bergamot, resembles an orange in shape, but is green or yellow like a lemon. Sweeter than a lemon, it is prized for its fragrant and delicious juice, which also makes highly regarded marmalade. The peel is also famously used as the flavouring for Earl Grey tea. All of our citrus are grafted onto C-35 citrange, trifoliate orange, or other semi-dwarfing rootstock which confer good hardiness and production while reducing overall tree size.
