Description
Arthropodium candidum ‘Maculatum’, known as dwarf rock lily, is a delicate, bulbous plant with narrow, linear, grass-like, bronze-coloured foliage with darker chocolatey speckles. In summer, airy clusters of white, starry flowers rise above the foliage. Clumping or slowly spreading 8-12 inches tall eventually to 18 inches wide. Excellent for the sunny rock garden with good drainage. Can also be used as a small, open ground cover and edger for beds and pathways. Shade tolerant but with best flowering in sun. Photo: Wikimedia.
