Description
Aquilegia coerulea ‘Rocky Mountain Blue’ is the state flower of Colorado and native to that and adjacent states. It produces large, showy mid blue and white flowers on stems up to two feet tall. It is popular with hawkmoths and native bees. The lacy and deeply cut green foliage serves as an elegant backdrop. Generally short-lived but will self-seed. Use in the landscape, containers and long-lasting in the vase. Pollinator attractor. Rabbit resistant. Photo: Wikipedia.
