Description
‘J.C. Raulston’ is a selected clone of the hardy Parry’s Agave with a particularly beautiful form of wide, bluish grey leaves and greater tolerance of wet winters. It forms two foot tall by 3 foot wide rosettes though will grow more slowly in the cool summers of coastal BC. One of the most widespread and hardy species, A. parryi can withstand minus 29 Celsius. In our region, protect from winter rain with extremely sharp drainage or overhead cover. Plants bloom once — around the age of 20 — but produce pups to keep your clump going!
