Description
Agapanthus ‘Ice Angel’ offers very showy, reblooming, floriferous and voluminous flower heads covered in pure white flowers on strong sturdy stems for an extended blooming period throughout summer and fall. Arching and lush green foliage complement and contrast beautifully. Fast growing and semi-compact, 18 to 22 inches tall with a 28 inch spread. Ideal for any size garden, borders, beds, patio containers and in the vase. Lily-of-the-Nile are gorgeous, subtropical-looking, long-blooming plants. IThrives in full sun and fertile, moist, well-drained soil. Awesome in the perennial border, grown in swaths, and in containers (where many gardeners find Agapanthus easier to bloom). A great cut flower. Mulch each winter with fallen leaves or protect above freezing in its pot. Hummingbird and bee attractor. Deer resistant.
