Welcome to the Summer Bulb and Bare Root Pre-Order featuring 400 different bulbs, corms, rhizomes, bare root plants, and some potted plants that will bloom in late spring, summer, and fall. This pre-order includes ornamentals, edibles, plants well-suited as houseplants, super hardy plants for zones 1-4, and rare South African bulbs along with some of their more familiar South African friends. More additions to this pre-order will be made through January.

Estimated Date: Pick-ups and shipping take place from March into April.
Plant Details: The number of bulbs per pack and other size details are listed above the price on the information page of each plant.
Local Pick-Up Customers:Pick-ups begin in March. Pre-orders are held for 4 weeks. If not picked up, your plants are returned to general inventory, a 25% restocking fee is deducted, and the remainder is refunded.
Mail Order Customers: Shipping occurs through March and April as soon as weather allows in your region. We must ship these plants as early as possible so they don’t come into growth in our mild climate. If you live in a cold region, we will ship once temperatures are safe for your plants to travel to you but they may arrive a few weeks before they can be planted outside. Depending on what you’ve ordered, you can store in a cool frost free location or in the crisper of your fridge or plant up in pots and protect from freezing.
Additions: Starting with the 2025 season, we will no longer be able to manually add items to existing orders. While we’ve happily accommodated additions in the past and appreciate your desire to order more plants, the manual adjustments are time-consuming and can lead to errors in calculations and paperwork updates. Additionally, these changes can complicate the order assembly and shipping process.
If you’d like to order more plants, whether for pick-up or shipping, we kindly ask that you place a new order. For shipping orders, please be sure to select the shipping option and pay the corresponding shipping fees. If you have multiple orders, feel free to add a note at checkout or send us an email with your order numbers, and we’ll make a note on your file. We may be able to consolidate multiple orders from the same pre-order or from the main catalogue for shipping and reduce your shipping costs. This depends on if your plants are all ready at the same time and if they all fit in one box. Please note that consolidating orders is not guaranteed.
For pick-up customers, please inform us when you arrive for pick-up about any multiple orders.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we make these changes to improve our operations.
Cancellations: Once plants are ordered, they are reserved for you and can’t be sold to anyone else. We view your order as a commitment you have made with us in good faith. For this reason, cancellations are governed by our Cancellation Policy with different options before and after February 1st, 2025 for this pre-order.
