Zantedeschia ‘Frozen Queen’

Zantedeschia 'Frozen Queen' is a calla lily with wine-red flowers and ruffled, translucent, white foliage with green margins.

Zantedeschia ‘Frozen Queen’ is a one-of-a-kind calla lily with gorgeous upright wine-red to raspberry-red flowers (spathes) and yellow-orange spadices. Stunning, translucent and ruffled silvery-white leaves with green margins complete this masterpiece. Expect good vigor despite the high level of variegation. Hybrid callas break dormancy in mid to late spring once bulbs have received enough heat and quickly come into bloom from summer through fall. Likes to be moist and can be grown as a marginal aquatic. Fertilize bi-monthly until flowers fade. Beautiful in borders, containers and as cut flowers. Hardy in coastal BC with good drainage and a winter mulch or lift and store. Pollinator attractor. Deer and rabbit resistant.
