Yucca filamentosa ‘Hofer’s Blue’ forms rosettes of spiky, strap-like leaves coloured in a bold silver-blue. As per the species name the leaf margins have long filamentous curly white threads. In summer Adam’s needle will often, but not always, form a 4-6 foot tall candelabra of creamy white, waxy, bell shaped flowers. Tolerant of poor, sandy soils and part shade though full sun is best.
