Yucca filamentosa ‘Bronze Age’
Yucca 'Bronze Age' is a blue-green yucca that has deep burgundy bronze colouration in fall and winter.
Yucca ‘Bronze Age’ forms rosettes of spiky, strap-like leaves coloured blue-green in the summer but deep burgundy bronze in the fall and winter. As per the species name the leaf margins have long filamentous curly white threads. In summer Adam’s needle will often, but not always, form a 4-6 foot tall candelabra of creamy white, waxy, bell shaped flowers. Tolerant of poor, sandy soils and part shade though full sun is best.
