Tulipa ‘Moonblush’ is a stunning lily-shaped tulip with yellow outer petals edged in orange and inner petals more orange overall with a central yellow stripe. Altogether the display will be a showstopper atop 16 inch stems. Lily-flowering tulips offer elegance to containers and garden beds. The flowers have slightly bulbous bases that narrow upwards and then flare open with pointed petal tips. Hybrid tulips can persist in the garden for many years. Afterall, they rebloom each year in the fields of the Netherlands. Provide full sun where bulbs aren’t shaded by other plants, fertilize with bulb food as soon as they emerge in spring, and allow the foliage to die back naturally after flowering.
