It is a tall, ethereal perennial with pendulous buds like white raindrops opening to reveal white wing-like petals above dangling yellowish stamens in summer. Meadow rue is a group of stately perennials that also have attractive columbine-like foliage and are perfect for the middle or back of the border. Plants appreciate even moisture. Pollinator attractor. Deer and rabbit resistant.
