Stokesia laevis Totally Stoked 'Riptide' is a Stoke's aster with violet-blue cornflower-like flowers and dark green foliage.

Stokesia laevis Totally Stoked ‘Riptide’ will have pollinators all a buzz with its large, three inch wide, violet-blue, cornflower-like flowers with deeply divided rays and prominent pincushion centres. Good basal branching creates numerous flower stems from early to late summer blanketing its mounding form to 26 inches high by 36 inches wide. The foliage is dark green and lance-shaped. Best in full sun. Drought tolerant once established. Use in beds and borders, in mass plantings, in cottage and rain gardens, and in the vase. Deadhead to prolong flowering. Pollinator attractor. Deer and rabbit resistant.
