Spiraea 'Ogon' is a stunning and very hardy deciduous shrub with golden, willowy leaves and pure white flowers in spring.

Spiraea thunbergii ‘Ogon’ is a stunning and very hardy deciduous shrub with willowy, lance-shaped leaves emerging chartreuse green in early to mid spring with sprays of fragrant, pure white flowers along the branches then turning to bright golden yellow as the season progresses if grown in sun or lime green if grown in part shade. The foliage turns shades of yellow and orange in fall. ‘Ogon’ grows to 3-5 feet high and wide with a pleasing arching shape or it can be pruned to shape as a ball or as a golden hedge.
