Soleirolia soleirolii ‘Aurea’

Soleirolia soleirolii ‘Aurea’ known as golden baby’s tears has golden evergreen leaves in lush moss-like mats.

Soleirolia soleirolii ‘Aurea’ is a vigorous, dwarf, creeping ground cover commonly known as golden baby’s tears. It offers dainty, brightly coloured, golden yellow, evergreen foliage on translucent, faintly tinted branching stems. Allow it to naturalize into a lush mat like a golden moss. Tiny, tubular, pinkish white flowers appear in summer. Hardy in shady sites in coastal BC (leaves will burn in hot afternoon sun), it also makes a great house plant for terrariums, hanging baskets, or to grow at the base of larger plants.
