Solanum tuberosum ‘Cecile’

Solanum tuberosum ‘Cecile’ is a high yielding French fingerling gourmet potato with smooth red skin and yellow flesh. The potatoes are similar to but slightly larger than ‘Bellanita’. Great boiled, roasted or in soups and salads. The plants can grow larger than is common with magenta coloured blooms. The tubers mature into long finger-like crescent shapes and are medium to large at maturity. High resistance to scab. Loose soils are preferable for higher production in the garden or large containers. Plant in early spring while soil is still cool. Hilling up potatoes plants increases yield. 90-100 days to maturity.
