Solanum lycopersicum Mighty Mato ‘Sungold’

Mighty Mato grafted tomatoes produce 2-3 times (or more!) fruit than ungrafted plants and are more cold tolerant and disease resistant.

‘Sungold’ produces light orange cherry tomatoes that are amongst the sweetest you’ll ever experience. An excellent variety similar to ‘Sun Sugar’ and ‘Orange Paruche’. You might have to grow all three of these golden cherries to decide on your favourite! 60 days. Indeterminate. Mighty Mato grafted tomatoes are hand grafted onto super strong tomato rootstock which provides greater disease resistance, greater cold tolerance (so tomatoes start growing faster in the spring), and great yield. Mighty Mato grafted plants usually produce 2-3 times more fruit than ungrafted plants, a difference that is especially large for heirloom varieties which do not always offer high yields.
