Solanum lycopersicum Mighty Mato Indigo ‘Pear Drops’

Mighty Mato grafted tomatoes produce 2-3 times (or more!) fruit than ungrafted plants and are more cold tolerant and disease resistant.

Indigo tomatoes produce non-stop heavy crops of fruit with dark purple shoulders packed with healthy anthocyanins, antioxidants that protect against cancer. Indigo ‘Pear Drops’ produces cool, pear-shaped, one inch, yellow fruit with purple-black shoulders with excellent sweet flavour. You can get 600-1000 fruit per plant in ideal growing conditions! Harvest when just the shoulders are still purple, the bottoms are bright yellow, and fruit is soft to the touch at around 65 days. Indeterminate. Mighty Mato grafted tomatoes are hand grafted onto super strong tomato rootstock which provides greater disease resistance, greater cold tolerance (so tomatoes start growing faster in the spring), and great yield. Mighty Mato grafted plants usually produce 2-3 times more fruit than ungrafted plants, a difference that is especially large for heirloom varieties which do not always offer high yields.
