Senecio rowleyanus or string-of-pearls is a distinctive and unmistakable, trailing succulent with long green stems adorned with nearly spherical, succulent, light to mid green leaves resembling a pearl necklace. ‘Variegata’ or, as its often called by succulent fans VSOP, is a very rare variegated form with leaves variably marked with white and ivory.
