Sedum spectabile ‘Elsie’s Gold’

Variegated green leaves are edged with a warm golden yellow that fades to a soft cream by fall. Large clusters of soft pink buds open to a deep pink blossoms on tall stems. Upright stonecrops are useful nearly year round: mounds of succulent new growth in early spring, structural upright clumps through summer, heads of showy flower heads in late summer and fall, and dried flower stems in winter.
