Sedum ‘Purple Emperor’

Very dark purple fleshy leaves cover the compact purple stems. In summer the clumps are topped with beautifully contrasting heads of dusty pink flowers. Maintains a good upright posture throughout the season. Upright stonecrops are useful nearly year round: mounds of succulent new growth in early spring, structural upright clumps through summer, heads of showy flower heads in late summer and fall, and dried flower stems in winter.
