Sedum Black Knight is a stonecrop that grows into a dramatic vase-like habit with dark, black succulent-like foliage on sturdy deep red stems topped in summer and fall with small clusters of red flowers creating a bicolour effect. Growth habit is 20 inches tall and wide. Upright stonecrops are useful nearly year round providing mounds of succulent new growth in early spring, structural upright clumps through summer, heads of showy flower heads in late summer and fall, and dried flower stems in winter. Use in the border and container, as mass planting, cut and dried flowers. Food for overwintering birds. Popular with bees and butterflies. Cultivar name ‘PP33,994’
