A slightly uncommon, woody self-clinging climber with broad, ovate dark green leaves that copes with the shade or northern aspect, and midsummer small FRAGRANT creamy white flowers. Best grown 24” from the host support fence, stump or wall. Can itself form a climbing frame for a Clematis , e.g. ‘Miss Bateman’ or ‘Dutchess of Edinborough’ or other herbaceous climber.
