Scabiosa columbaria ‘Mariposa Blue’

Scabiosa 'Mariposa Blue' has large blue pincushions produced in great numbers above mounds of attractive foliage.

Fully double, large, lavender blue blossoms on sturdy stems rise above tidy bluish-green foliage. With a compact, tidy habit, this is a long and profuse bloomer. The Phoenicians were mightily impressed with this cultivar in our trials. Use it in containers or at the front of the border.
