Sarracenia ‘Doodle Bug’ is a beautiful carnivours hybrid pitcher plant with eight inch high, green, cobra-shaped pitchers with prominent red veins around the near white top of each pitcher. The pitchers will attract, trap, and consume various insects including mosquitoes and flies. For very moist, boggy conditions in full sun or grow in a container sitting in a saucer of water filled to a depth of one inch. The parents are S. alabamensis and S. psittacina.
