Salvia ‘Love and Wishes’

Salvia ‘Love and Wishes’ is a bold and beautiful sage with large, purplish magenta flowers emerging from dusky purple sepals on deep maroon stems produced from early summer until frost. Use it as a dramatic summer planting in the garden or pots. ‘Love and Wishes’ is not that hardy but is worth it because it produces copious amounts of nectar for hummingbirds and other pollinators. Customers come back for it and ‘Amistad’ and ‘Ember’s Wish’ every year because the hummers love them so much. Treat as an annual or overwinter indoors in greenhouse, house, or garage.
