Rudbeckia nitida ‘Herbstonne’ is a stately perennial cutleaf coneflower, a black-eyed susan relative with a green central cone and reflexed bright yellow petals. The flowers are held on tall stems that can grow up to eight feet in height. It is an excellent back of the border presence for the summer garden blooming over a long season through July and August. Popular with butterflies.
