Rubus ‘Marion’, also known as Marionberry, is a popular hybrid blackberry that produces large crops of very tasty, very sweet, dark red to black, elongated, conical fruit balanced by a nice tartness. It is referred to as the ‘Cabernet of Blackberries’. White flowers bloom in spring with fruit ripening in summer. A wall or trellis support is required. Provide good organic soil that is well drained. Enjoys full sun but keep out of hot, dry sun. Delicious fresh, juiced and in desserts. Attracts bees.
