Rubus idaeus ‘Red Mammoth’ is an exclusive variety introduced by the University of Saskatchewan. Offers more cold resistant with record size fruit, 21.5 mm in diameter. Berries are very sweet, rich red in colour and easily detached. The summer-bearing raspberry produces thornless and upright canes making for easy picking. Expect a long harvest time between mid to end of season. White blooms in spring. Remove fruited canes after fruiting to encourage new canes. Enjoy fresh, frozen, canned, and baked. Attracts bees and wildlife.
