Rubus ursinus x idaeus is known as boysenberry. It has super tasty, elongated, blackberry-like fruit.

Rubus ursinus x idaeus is a complex hybrid known as boysenberry. It is a cross between a raspberry, a loganberry, a dewberry, and a blackberry. Most importantly, it’sdelicious! The late summer berries are large, elongated and juicy with an excellent sweet-tart flavour. Fruits are produced on second year canes called floricanes. Prune these canes back every fall during dormancy. Provide organically rich soil that is well drained with even moisture. Attracts bees and birds.
