Rosa Jalbert ‘Caramel Kiss’

Rosa 'Caramel Kiss' offers heavily ruffled petals in soft peachy caramel with a strong anise, lychee, and pear fragrance.

Rosa ‘Caramel Kiss’ is a wonderful shrub rose introduced to celebrate the 35th anniversary of Select Roses, Brad Jalbert’s beacon of beauty and fragrance in Langley, BC. The elegant cream, pink and apricot buds open into unique, heavily ruffled flowers reminiscent of classic English style David Austin roses in shades of soft peachy caramel sometimes kissed with soft pink. The strong fragrance is a delicious mix of anise, pear, and lychee. The flowers have long stems with a low thorn count and are perfect for cutting long stem roses for the vase. The holly-like foliage is classic, thick, glossy, trademark Jalbert with awesome disease resistance. Grows to about five feet tall and repeat blooms all season. Canadian breeder Brad Jalbert of Select Roses is world-renowned for his beautiful, floriferous, and highly disease resistant roses. Bred in coastal BC, they are perfect for our west coast climate but also do remarkably well in diverse regions.
