Rosa Canadian Artist ‘Campfire’
Rosa 'Campfire' offers continuous-blooming, double flowers in shades of yellow, ruby red, and pink. Hardy to zone 3!
Rosa ‘Campfire’, named for a famous painting by Group of Seven contemporary Tom Thomson, offers continuous-blooming, semi-double to double flowers that emerge pale to buttery yellow with ruby red tips that eventually colour the whole flower in glowing pink and red. This multicoloured display will make an impression all summer long. Light fragrance. Grows to just 2.5 feet high perfect for containers or mass planting as a ground cover. The Canadian Artist series was developed in Morden, Manitoba by a consortium or rose breeders focussed on developing super hardy roses that can thrive in zone 3 that also have beautiful reblooming flowers and excellent disease resistance. Each cultivar is named after a famous Canadian artist.
