Ribes rubrum ‘White Imperial’ is a white currant cultivar with excellent production of pink-tinged, white berries that are sweet and flavourful. All currants are rich in antioxidants and have a much higher vitamin C content than oranges. They can be eaten fresh or used for jams, jellies, and juices. They are easy-to-grow, self-fertile, and very hardy to at least zone 3.
