Rhododendron ‘Yaku Princess’

Rhododendron 'Yaku Princess' is a mid-sized evergreen shrub with frilly white and pink flowers and glossy, olive-green leaves.

Rhododendron ‘Yaku Princess’ features large, rounded trusses of frilly white funnel-shaped flowers infused with delicate pink flushes. The closed buds display richer pink tones making for a stunning bicolour effect. The deep, olive green foliage has dark orange-yellow indumentum on the undersides. Shrubs are dense and compact growing five feet tall and wide. Benefits from evenly moist, well-drained, slightly acidic-based soil and mulch. Use as an informal hedge, accent, foundation planting, mass planting, and for winter interest. Tolerant of full sun. Hummingbird and pollinator attractor. Deer and rabbit resistant.
