Rhodochiton atrosanguineus ‘Purple Bells’

Rhodochiton atrosanguineus 'Purple Bells' is an exotic tender vine with dark purple tubular flowers and light purple calyces.

Rhodochiton atrosanguineus ‘Purple Bells’ is an exotic tender climbing vine with green, heart-shaped leaves edged in purple that easily coil around any support. Free-flowering blooms from spring to frost, are long, tubular and of the darkest purple suspended from purple-red bell-shaped calyces. After pollination, the tubes fall away with the sepals expanding and turning a greenish to rose-red colour for weeks on end. A fast-growing, easy care climber from 10 to 12 feet. Perfect for a wall, trellis, pergola or hanging baskets. Over winter in a frost-free area or treat as an annual. Photo: Wikipedia.
