Pyrrosia lingua is a common rock-dwelling fern from northeast Asia with tongue-shaped, leathery fronds with cinnamon-felted undersides. ‘Ogon Nishiki’ is a very rare thing in that it is a variegated fern. Every leaf offers different light green stripes on an emerald green background. It can be grown in open potting media, orchid mix, or on a slab. Keep dry in winter; water and fertilize in summer. A good houseplant.
