Pycnanthemum x incanum ‘Smokey Mountain Mint’ is an exciting and beautiful mountain mint offering wide appeal. Foliage offers spectacular shades of gray-purple with silvery growing points and bract-like leaves surrounding flower clusters of delicate white with lavender speckles at the tips of the long square stems. Grows from 24 to 30 inches tall and produces masses of flowers from early summer through frost. All parts of the plant emit a pleasant minty fragrance that can be used for teas and said to repel mosquitoes if rubbed on the skin. Does not spread. Pollinator magnet in the mid to late summer garden. Deer resistant.
