Punica granatum ‘Parfianka’ is perhaps the most popular of all pomegranates said to have the most flavourful fruit perfect for juicing or fresh eating with small edible seeds. Plants are naturally dwarfing and great in containers. They can produce their rich red fruit early on young plants. The gorgeous orange-red blooms provide a subtropical look. This is a multi-stemmed deciduous shrub that grows up to 10 feet but is easy to keep smaller by pruning. Pomegranates require lots of sun and heat to bloom and fruit. They are self fertile and leaf out in late spring.
