Prunus avium 'Stella' is a self-fertile, mid-season sweet cherry with dark red skin on large, sweet, flavourful fruit.

Prunus avium ‘Stella’ is a self-fertile, award-winning sweet cherry. Clusters of fragrant white flowers in spring are followed by a bountiful mid-season harvest of large, heart-shaped, dark red cherries that are sweet and rich in flavour with a firm texture. Excellent for eating fresh, canning and preserves. Ornamentally attractive with a spreading canopy of dark green leaves. Trees are on semi-dwarf rootstock and will reach 12-15 feet tall. A good pollinator for almost any other variety. Photo credit: Wikipedia.
