Polemonium pulcherrimum ‘Golden Feathers’

Polemonium pulcherrimum 'Golden Feathers' is a Jacob's ladder with variegated green and yellow foliage and mauve flowers.

Polemonium pulcherrimum ‘Golden Feathers’ is a sport of ‘Lambrook Mauve’ that adds bright accents to the part shade garden with its green foliage with broad, irregular, bright yellow edging. On top of that, simple bluish-purple to mauve flowers bloom above the foliage from late spring to summer. Plants have a nice mounding habit growing 6-8 inches tall and 12-14 inches wide. Use at the front of the shady or woodland border or in borders that receive morning sun. Lovely in containers too. Attracts bees.
