Podophyllum ‘Spotty Dotty’ is a spectacular hybrid of several Asian mayapples boasting large, vigorous, lobed umbrella-shaped leaves in muted chartreuse green with dramatic chocolate-brown spotting. These hybrid seedlings look like ‘Spotty Dotty’ when young but will have genes from one of the following species also present in the garden where the seeds were collected: ‘Red Panda’, P. delavayi, P. difforme, or P. versipelle. As adult plants they could become a real and unique treasure. Order multiple plants to create a dramatic and diverse colony!
