Pinellia are often referred to as the poor sisters of the Arisaema likely due to their less dramatic flowers. Well, Pinellia tripartita ‘Gold Dragon’ has the Arisaema beat for foliage! The exciting and exotic leaves of this selection are gold or variegated gold. Every leaf is different. The fragrant white to green “jack-in-the-pulpit” flowers are small but offer long spadices that lick at the air above. Prefers fertile, humus-rich soil in part sun/part shade.
