Pinellia cordata
Pinellia cordata has variegated foliage and green Jack-in-the pulpit flowers with a long spadix and bubblegum fragrance.
An unusual gem for your shade garden, Pinellia cordata is an aroid, better known as miniature green dragon. It makes a great understory planting with dark green, arrow-shaped leaves with variegated silver stripes purple reverses. The Jack-in-the pulpit type flowers, green with a purple tinge, produce a long spadix/tongue that curls above the foliage. They are amazingly fragrant like fruity bubblegum. Will spread gently via bulbils.
