Phygelius x rectus Colorburst Yellow

Phygelius x rectus Colorburst Yellow is a long blooming cape fuchsia with bright yellow tubular flowers.

Phygelius x rectus Colorburst Yellow is a cape fuchsia from South African bringing originality and flower power to any setting. Bright yellow panicles of pendulous tubular flowers outperform expectations from late spring to frost not only in colour but also in bloom and form. This sun-loving perennial also tolerates part shade, clumps and does not spread with an upright, mounding growth habit of 20 to 30 inches tall with a 28 inch spread. Cut back hard in the spring and pinch out occasionally to get good bushy form. Winter mulch. Awesome in the middle to back of the border, as a specimen, in the mixed container as both filler and thriller. Attracts hummingbirds. Deer resistant. Cultivar ‘TNPHYCY’
