Phlox ‘Rocky Road Magenta’ is a creeping hybrid spring phlox with a vibrant show of magenta-purple flowers with tiny dark eyes. Blooms on a low-growing spreading mat 4-6 inches high and 36 inches wide. This alpine plant has a more compressed growth habit and spreads more slowly than Phlox subulata. Shear back in early summer after blooms have finished to produce denser foliage and encourage reblooming. Ideal as a ground cover, border, rock garden and mass planting. Pollinator attractor.
