Phlox paniculata 'Gzhel’ is a garden phlox with bright blue buds opening up to fragrant panicles of violet-blue and white flowers.

Phlox paniculata ‘Gzhel’ is a bushy garden phlox with gorgeous and very fragrant flowers that bud out in bright blue opening up into pinwheel style with each petal hosting half of it in violet-blue and the other half in white. Growth habit is 36 to 42 inches tall with a 24 inch spread. A member of the Russian Lady series bred for its larger flower clusters, extended bloom time and tough, disease-resistant foliage. Use in the mixed sunny border, pollinator, meadow and cutting gardens. Deadhead to encourage continued blooming. Pollinator and hummingbird attractor. Somewhat deer resistant.
